STEMblazers' Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser… Full Circle!
STEMblazers’ 7th Annual Golf Fundraiser was a success!
Arrowhead Golf Club always delivers with its breathtaking views and beautiful greens. Moving the tournament to an afternoon shotgun had us crossing our fingers for good weather, and we lucked out: It was a gorgeous day! Repeat, and New Sponsors joined us with smiling faces, ready to get on the course. A new contest hole this year provided a unique challenge to Beat the Pro while our Win the Cooler contest didn’t disappoint. Snacks kept everyone going, while water guns provided a fun way to stay cool. Scroll down to see our photo gallery.
As the sun started to set, dinner under the beautifully lit tent provided an evening of delicious BBQ, social interaction, and an inspiring presentation. Stephanie Shivar from Gallantry Coaching did a tremendous job narrating the event and even found a new skill as an impromptu auctioneer. Always thankful for all of our sponsors STEMblazers’ made a special shout out to our once again Gold Sponsor, the Feavel Family; a STEM family that will always hold a special place in our hearts. STEMblazers’ focus this year was coming Full Circle, showing how crucial our program is to filling the pipeline of current and future companies. Sravani and Vivan, both members of our program in the past, shared their experience with STEMblazers’, how the program helped shape who they are today and the opportunities it provided them, including being able to intern with our Corporate Sponsors. These young ladies demonstrated the power and success of coming Full Circle with STEMblazers, and we can not wait to see what they will accomplish in the future!
Our Annual Golf Fundraiser is only possible because of the generous support from our sponsors. It is through them that we will fulfill our goal of reaching 1 million girls in 20 years!
